Is Canada's fracture point regional or generational...

It might be both and that's a problem.

There has been some great writing from folks like Anthony Koch in National Post and at the Substack Without Diminishment on issues of generational divides in Canada. I’ll be speaking with Anthony on this issue in coming days, but wanted to bring back this clip from my recent interview with Darrell Bricker and John Ibbitson.

They’ve published a new book called Breaking Point: The New Big Shifts Putting Canada at Risk.

In this part of our chat, and you can watch the whole interview here, we are talking about how Canada remains divided and as Darrell is talking about regional divides and how Mark Carney needs to learn from Sir. John A. Macdonald and his way of working where no one gets all that they want - everyone can have half a glass - John switched to the very real generational divides.

There is a real problem with the generational divide in our country because Canada has failed our young people and this will lead to great unrest if not addressed.

Enjoy the chat and if you like what you hear, consider grabbing the book before the Christmas rush.
