As always, it’s a lively discussion when Sam Cooper and I get together. We have very different but complimentary areas of expertise when it comes to Canadian politics and we each respect each other’s work.
Last week, while I was away on vacation, I left behind videos explaining why neither Jason Kenney nor Doug Ford are coming for Pierre Poilievre’s job. Though as Sam pointed out, maybe Kory Teneycke is, I’ll ask him eventually.
But I kept hearing that I need to talking for Sam about why China doesn’t want Poilievre as CPC leader.
Truth is, the Chinese Communist Party doesn’t really want any Conservative as leader. That’s something Sam and I talked about in this video.
