I just finished listening to the interview. Thank you.

I believe that he has laid out the best path for Canadians.

Pierre was excellent.

Of the many topics covered the most important to me is smaller government, less government spending, resulting in the support of a more capitalist society.

It's interesting that Peter Menzies posted this on his Substack, "So, here’s a tip: if CBC wants to put an end to criticisms it is behaving like state media in a one-party, post-democratic nation …. It should stop its employees from behaving as if it is one."

Well presented interview in a truly Prime Ministerial commentary. He hit all the right topics that should resonate with Canadians as well as Americans. This is leadership we need not what we currently have in Carney and the liberals.

So great to hear such common sense in a leader. He resinates with the common people!

It's so refreshing to listen to a leader with a real common sense plan, one that isn't just delivering speaches, but can discuss stratagies openly and honestly with people. That's MY Prime Minister (in waiting)

Excellent Interview. He was calm & clear in what he believes Canada & Canadians need. Totally the opposite of Carney & his minions.

Thanks for the link. Pierre is gradually removing the cloak of the Leader of His Majesty's Official Opposition and preparing to don the cloak of a Prime Minister. Nice to see.

I watched the Joe Rogan interview and now this and am loving this format for Pierre. He’s articulate, understands the issues deeply and has great policy ideas.

When he can get out from under the soundbites that are meant to frame him as some hysterical Maple-Maga and show case his passion for Canada and his understanding of the issues that matter we’ll see his stock rise.

Same guy he has always been.

Yes, Pierre is the same guy we know and love! The intelligent, thoughtful, experienced, wise, witty, kind, patriotic, and articulate PM in waiting (plus a whole lot more positives)!

Isn't it great to listen to a politician you can understand? In comparison, when Mark Carnage speaks, my eyes glass over about 20 seconds in because nothing he says makes sense.

Again. It just highlights how many Brainwashed Sheep Sociopaths exist in Canada !!

Why he was not voted in 4 years ago , let alone last year

Jerry Grant's avatar

You are impolite and bring nothing to the discussion. Why don't you contribute ant tell us what Carney is doing right?

Ms Smith's avatar

Can't think of a single thing.

Scott Newell's avatar

Impolite ? Spoken like a true Canadian.

Carney is doing absolutely nothing right but to continue what he started with Trudeau.

What are you contributing?

Jerry Grant's avatar

I am asking you to contribute rather than insult This isn't X.

Daveyboy67's avatar

He is doing nothing right and everything wrong.

Hmmm. Pierre only became CPC Leader in 2022, and the last election was 2021. I was sorry Pierre didn’t run for (and win) the CPC Leadership in the leadership election O’Toole won.

Pierre is getting his message out on world podcasts etc. Our Canadian bought for media do not want Canadians to actually get to know him. The CBC, CTV etc like to keep the Maple MAGA myth going.

We really need someone who truly cares about this country and its future. I think that person is Pierre.

Coldcuts's avatar

I absolutely adore this guy. Smartest man in the room

Pierre seems on top of the game, hope it resonates with Canadians, At least he's getting attention from the CBC ( Carney Broad Casting ) associations, and its seems positive.

Penny Leifson's avatar

The CBC only tosses a few positive crumbs when forced.

Better late then never I say.

He should have done this before or during the last election.

If he had of proposed free trade then he would be Prime Minister Now.

Martin Dixon's avatar

You underestimate the stupidity of the electorate.

Penny Leifson's avatar

Did you listen to anything he said last election, or just listened to what the media clipped and quoted out of context?

Roger Langille's avatar

Yeah I did and whoever was the manager responsible for canceling the conservative party's policy of free trade should have been fired and he definitely never should have joined the liberals trade war.

Jerry Grant's avatar

Huh? He ran on fixing Canada so we could negotiate from a position of power.

Roger Langille's avatar

He ran on duties adding duties in case you don't remember he joined the duty program the trade war and dumped free trade anyway now he's back to free trade

Jerry Grant's avatar

You are correct, he did propose counter-vailing duties.

What a difference in the interviewer from Bloomberg compared to one from CBC. He is so respectful.

Gil Geck's avatar

Great interview and common sense policy for future Canada. Unfortunately Mr. Poilievre you are about 15 months too late. Where were you when the election campaign was on?

Jerry Grant's avatar

He was campaigning on the same platform.
