It's interesting that Peter Menzies posted this on his Substack, "So, here’s a tip: if CBC wants to put an end to criticisms it is behaving like state media in a one-party, post-democratic nation …. It should stop its employees from behaving as if it is one."
Well presented interview in a truly Prime Ministerial commentary. He hit all the right topics that should resonate with Canadians as well as Americans. This is leadership we need not what we currently have in Carney and the liberals.

I watched the Joe Rogan interview and now this and am loving this format for Pierre. He’s articulate, understands the issues deeply and has great policy ideas.
When he can get out from under the soundbites that are meant to frame him as some hysterical Maple-Maga and show case his passion for Canada and his understanding of the issues that matter we’ll see his stock rise.
Isn't it great to listen to a politician you can understand? In comparison, when Mark Carnage speaks, my eyes glass over about 20 seconds in because nothing he says makes sense.

Carney never intended to "deal with Trump" He's all talk & no action. Trump is a reasonable man. He LISTENS which is something that Carney does not. Pierre would have a good relationship with Trump. TDS has no business in Canadian politics simply b'cuz their economy is 10x bigger. Common sense needs to be prevalent when discussing things with Trump. People in Canada have NO FREAKING IDEA of what kind of man Trump is b'cuz of all the propaganda by our mainstream media & how they "love" the Democrats who are destroying America just like the Liberals are in Canada. The Liberals even utilize Democratic individuals to help win elections in Canada. Did you know that? Trudeau certainly used them as advisers & since Carney was also an "advisor" (however bad) they're two peas in a pod.
Pierre could well be our savior if he's ever elected but I doubt we'll have an election anytime soon. Carney & his minions are busy trying to bride at least 1 or 2 others to cross the floor so they can have a majority the "easy" way rather than rely on Canadians who they think are REALLY STUPID & APATHETIC. That's why we're in the situation we're in thanks to 10+ years of Liberal arrogance & corruption.
BTW the mainstream media in the U.S. and Canada do not know Trump at all & no matter how good his policies are, they'll simply say he's "Hitler" or "racist" w/o coming up with their own RATIONAL policies. The Trans issue, the immigration issues et al are the ONLY thing they can offer Americans. Trump OTOH offers closed borders to illegals, voter ID is in the works & hopefully will pass, reduced the income tax of regular peoples - all of which make common sense & which Democrats (& likely Cdn Liberals) hate. Most Americans like these policies but the way they're reported by the media you would never think that 80%+ Americans agree with those policies rather than the garbage the Democrats propose.

Smith went to Mar-A-Lago and emphasized the benefits of Alberta O&G to both countries. The tariffs on Alberta O&G have been at 10% for a year.
