I live in Alberta and I just received a letter (as a PAL holder) from the RCMP telling me they are approaching PAL holders and others that may have ASSAULT-STYLE FIREARMS. It is asking me to participate in turning over any guns I have that fit that description through the gun buyback program.
Anyone with half a brain can look at the gun buyback program for what it is and understand it won’t solve ANY issues with crime and guns in the streets.
