How the B.C. Conservatives won big a week ago...

Brian Lilley joined by Angelo Isidorou and Jeff Ballingal on how the West was won.

The fact that the B.C. Conservatives won last weekend wasn’t the shocking part, it was the size of their win. The party took 63 seats to the , while the NDP took just 28 and the Greens 2.

There were people who were working on the campaign who believed they would win but didn’t think they’d reach 63 seats.

I haven’t written or said much about the B.C. win over the past week, it’s been a crazy week in politics. On Friday, I appeared on Glenn Beck’s show stateside and he asked me about the election, but that’s been about it.

So today, I gathered some of the people responsible for the win.

Angelo Isidorou was chief strategist for the party, Jeff Ballingall looked after digital communications and Anthony Koch handled media and comms. Unfortunately, Anthony’s connection crapped out and he had to leave. Also, I really wanted to hear from Katy Merrifield who played such a central role in the campaign but she was taking some much deserved rest.

I’ve still got a request in to interview Lorne Doerkson, hopefully that can happen soon.

Enjoy our Sunday afternoon chat.
