His speech yesterday in England was simply outstanding. It's sad that there are so many who have been duped by Trudeau 2.0. It's amazing how far a nice suit and well crafted, yet hollow, speeches can take you. Canadians could have saved themselves a lot of pain had they put aside their "Poilievre Derangement Syndrome", not cowered in a corner peeing their pants over veiled threats from Trump and have the courage to admit that Poilievre has more to offer than simple word-salad speeches.

Brian Lilley:

It’s always powerful to see people reconnect with the roots of the systems we rely on today. When the history behind our institutions is understood, the present makes a lot more sense. Sharing that context—especially in a way that brings the story to life—helps more people appreciate how we got here.

Pierre's Magna Carta video should be played in schools across the country!

100%! Very good. They need to bring back history lessons and public speaking/debating courses, at the very least.

Sure would be nice if MSM paid more attention to Pierre instead of Trump and Epstein

That media presence in Europe is an astute move on Poilievre's part. He can't do anything about a situation at home where Trump Derangement Syndrome means that many Canadians can't even think clearly about national issues.

As a result, the fact that Carney isn't doing anything of substance doesn't really matter. In truth, he doesn't need to. He can just blame Trump. And he can just keep bribing Poilievre's Conservative MPs to cross the floor until he gets a majority.

Meanwhile, Poilievre, unable to change the situation at home, is at least adding to his international recognition while staying on message. Whatever people may think of the guy, they should give him marks for making the best of a bad situation.

If you want to hear a really good interview on floor crossing mps check out Rebel News "MPs defecting to Liberals making Canadians feel country ia broken: David Knight Legg" Legg makes very good points on why it is so bad for constituents and the country.

At last, Pierre is calling out by name, net zero! It will be that issue that will put daylight between the cons and the libs.

It was a good interview with Peter Mansbridge however Pierre is being naive if he thinks he can negotiate rationally with the Trump administration. After Spain refused access to their bases for US strikes in Iran, Trump had a fit and threatened to cut off all US trade with Spain. There is no rational negotiating with that. The latest I read was that US wanted to charge Canada tariffs for the “privilege” of merely accessing the US market and also wants dismantle our supply management system. Good luck dealing with that.
