Last week, Michael Ma was still a Conservative MP, now he’s a Liberal MP.
You’ve all heard by now how Ma was at the Conservative Christmas party on Wednesday night dancing up a storm with his wife and having a great time with colleagues. The next night he was at the Liberal Christmas party being introduced as their newest MP.
Last Friday, I reported that Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson helped broker the deal to bring Ma over to the Liberal caucus. At the same time, others started reporting on Chinese foreign interference, including Sam Cooper of The Bureau.
Sam knows Chinese networks, I know politics, so we got together to discuss the whole issue and agree that two things can be true at once.
