I cannot stomach listening to pipsqueak Frankie Bubbles shouting his ridiculous non-truths! Why do the Liberals find it necessary to sound like maniacs rather than just talking like normal people? It is pure (and poor) theatrics! They really need to lower their voices and strengthen their arguments.

The libs cater their speeches to their voter base who aren't overly smart or informed. Theatrics work well with them.

I love Pierre Poilievre but I also agree that he can't be the only spokesperson for the party. There are so many smart, well spoken intelligent members in the house on the conservative side, they should be given an opportunity to shine as well. The legacy media will do its level best to make them all sound like bigoted, uneducated rubes but maybe, just maybe they might resonate with those in the population at large still equipped with common sense.

I agree that this needs to be done but I think it has started. Brian cherry-picked a little by referring to three days. There have been a lot more than three days of the House sitting this session and many CPC MPs have been showcased. You also see them doing more legacy media appearances and both Andrew Scheer and Aaron Gunn in particular do fairly regular YT videos. I think this approach needs to be pushed even more, definitely, but I think they've started and so hopefully we'll see more and more of it. 🤞

Scott Aitchison, Michael Barrett, Michelle Rempel Garner, Andrew Lawton, Ellis Ross, Tim Uppal, Aaron Gunn, Garnett Genuis, Sandra Cobena, Larry Brock, Michael Chong, Melissa Lantsman, Jamil Jivani, Raquel Dancho, Michael Cooper and countless others. That's a lot of smart fire power. What does Carney have? Melanie Joly, Patty Hajdu, Gary Anandasangaree, Anita Anand??? Yikes!

You consider Jamil Jivani as smart fire power? Lol. That dud is trying to assume the Charlie Kirk mantle for Maple MAGA while delivering only abject failure. Try again.

Do you even know what Jamil is doing? Visiting campuses trying rouse up disenfranchised young men? Sounds like Turning Point Canada - but is being met with resounding lack of response. Lol.

I agree. My own MP, a back bencher, who is a first time MP and who is very well spoken and intelligent, has risen several times in the House already. Her message and questions are always well articulated, significant, and relevant.

Wow that drug report... $13 million.. where does that money end up?

I'm wondering 2008, the tar sands report.. was that inline with the VPs book.

Al Gore....inconvient truth. He made a killing on clinate change . He also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.. now thats really an inconvenient truth.

Pierre , the jokes make themselves. He just points out the obvious. And laughs.. i love it

Great article..tks

Pushing the line. Yes Pierre was. Maybe that's what is needed to put and end to stupid liberal games. As we have a multi party sysytem, perhaps the speaker of the house should come from a party that is not in power and not in opposition.

It's very easy for Carney to leave and do anything he wants as no news to the real public is ever given, so Carney's continued control of the legacy media means he can do or say anything, the legacy media only state what they are told to state and no longer do reporting. Pay to view sites are not supported by the masses who do not care. Carney stands up with the legacy media spouting lies and that's all the masses see as they only view the legacy media.

Correct BL - the CPC needs a few other 'personalities' delivering messages for the TT and YT short vids. Further, perhaps the boomers will get the message if it was a shared effort from other loud party members.

Michelle Rempel-Garner seems to have some freedom to speak forcefully about the Immigration File, and thank goodness for that, someone needs to.

Rempel-Garner is the template that other Conservative shadow ministers should emulate, crafting private members bills and getting out in front of her policy ideas as a contrast against the sorry messaging that the Liberals continue to peddle.

The interesting side bar to this is Rempel-Garner didn't support Poilievre in the leadership race but was brought in from the deep freeze as a competent politician who is articulate and can speak in plain language that people can identify with.

There is only 1 sure way for the CPC to actually get the message out and that's town hall meetings by 100% of the MP and candidates in Liberal ridings

After watching that childish display I can but wonder: Why do we even have a Parliament?

Kids in a schoolyard shouting at each other 'Am not!' and 'Are too'! 'Your mother's a ...!'

There's not an adult among them.

And how many billions of dollars per year does it cost taxpayers to fund this worthless circus?

The entire House of Commons needs to put in time out for 3 or 4 years.

Embarrassing.
