The CAD will remain WEAK until Canadian resources are allowed to shine. Period. It’s been true for YEARS. This is NOT an Iran conflict issue, it’s a govt policy!!

Our government is ruining Canada. When will it end? When will people see the Mark Carney is poison to our economy.

Brian...oil prices...they come and they go...

Bills c-15, c-8, c-9....these are the real issues..canadians are in deep.. and someone needs to be talking about this..

Oh...and ALTO....$90B (starter price)....$9000 for every canadian taxpayer...these are the issues that will plague our children and grandchildren.

I agree 💯 Julia, these fuel prices are only the tip of the iceberg! There are way more pressing matters at hand!

and to think that Alberta, Saskatchewan and northern BC don't feel welcome in Canada anymore!

Unrelated topic, but I would like to know who nanos surveys to come up with the numbers saying that Carney support is up! I have never been surveyed. Do they only do their surveys in Liberal ridings??

The side-conversation about gst rebates for food...when the gov't selectively hands back collected tax dollars to what will be a group of selected applicants rather than cut back on charging hst is nothing short of lip-service.

Good interview with Mr. McTeague!

The Liberals aren’t Liberals… Neo-Marxist is more accurate

Always the same they gouge us at the pump immediately after any crisis starts and when it is over they keep prices up saying they purchased at the higher price. Win win for them .

Canada, and any other oil producing country should have reserves and pricing that reflects in-house production. Being at the mercy of forever war globalists likes Lloyds of London has to change ! Bring on the Conservatives !

Betty McIvor's avatar

We had that in the 80's. It was called the National Energy Program. If you are really interested in Western Canada leaving please continue pushing such a program.

Richard Blackwell's avatar

Betty, thanks for pointing that out. The power grab by PETrudeau was not what I had in mind.

Betty McIvor's avatar

What are you suggesting?

Richard Blackwell's avatar

Nothing more than a savings account. Why can we not have reserves in each province ? Why is Canada at the mercy of the Middle East and Lloyds of London ? To expand on this watch what Trump is doing currently. He is exposing the system of control used against the world by The City of London and the puppets they have in positions of power. Trump is breaking the system that Carnage and Trudeau support. The EU, NATO, the Federal Reserve. With all the concerns we have in Canada Carnage is sending more equipment to the Ukraine to perpetuate that war. Not to mention creating more debt here ! Oil reserves that are not in the ground as Carnage wrote in his book.

I watched Dan McTeague speak at the Canada Strong and Free convention a couple years ago in Ottawa. He is so well spoken and it is hard to believe he was once a liberal MP.

Net Zero policy is like building a volcano, burring carbon into the ground, Who came up with that bright idea, on one hand they say the planet is heating up, if so what would happen to all that Carbon under ground heating up, Politicians aren't scientist with all their degree's they aren't even good at the job they were elected to do, very bad as investor's, unless its good for votes, sound bites are awesome for winning.

Dan Mcteague, Warren kinsella (I know he is still staunch liberal but I enjoy him so much) Mr. Ledrew. There is a lot of ex liberals unhappy.

we're paying $2.05/lr in greater Vancouver today 😡

Verna Scott's avatar

doesn't sound promising. but never say never..

did we not pay $2 a liter at one time..

he mentioned all the products oil makes..tires etc. spin off jobs.. and jet fuel.

$21% interest on a mtge of $100,000 is not tge same as $21% on 1 million.

these are crazy numbers.. i feel bad for my grandkids.. honestly. but they dont seem to mind. we didnt either at their age.

good discussion.
