Do Conservatives want to fight each other or win...

A new round of infighting and ex-communications has broken out among Conservative Party supporters.

I’d like to stop writing and talking about Conservative infighting, but for that to happen the infighting would need to stop.

In the online world, and X and Facebook are not the real world, things have gotten crazy. People who should want to work together in their common goal of defeating the Liberals are busy denouncing their former allies.

It’s excommunication season in the conservative movement it seems.

“The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally – not a 20 percent traitor,” Ronald Regan famously said.

That seems lost on people today.

For calling for the infighting and useless fights to stop, I’ve had no end of emails, comments and direct messages telling me that I am clearly a Liberal hack out to boost Mark Carney and/or Doug Ford.

That would be news to both of them who take real criticism from me on a regular basis.

Anyway, after this, I’ve said my piece and I’m moving on.
