He thought after being "selected" that it would be smooth sailing to destroy the Canadian economy(starting with Trudumb as his advisor unofficially before Covid) and rise up as a savior for the people and the country. Problem is there are a lot more smarter people than him that are getting in his way. He is a proven consummate liar and has to lie to cover lies. If it was anyone else his actions would be considered treasonous.
You're certainly right that he didn't anticipate running into smarter people who aren't shy about disagreeing with him. Politics is a blood sport for which he was wholly unprepared nor possessed the strength of character to adapt to.

We CAN’T sell our resources. But we CAN create a good investment base. The tax laws and red tape have to be revised to create a lucrative investment environment. The problem is more money has left the country instead of investing in our country/economy…due to those roadblocks.

Have you wondered why all the media (MSM) report the same half truths…and discount any opposition. Case in point…no need to vote to pass “bills” and no need to be transparent and accountable. No follow up insights from MSN. Have you noticed that the criminal element has escalated across Canada without consequences even with warnings from CSIS.
Have you noticed how our country’s demographic has changed ( in part due to immigration policies and also due to DEI mandates.
There are so many other elements of our society I haven’t mentioned but are very much affected negatively due entirely to this federal government’s policies and mandates. Canada has changed.
