The liberals are like a happy marriage going sour. They are bad for business. Restaurants are closing at a record pace with higher taxes, food inflation, and rent. Beer sales are down. Ford empties a 40 ouncer onto the grass . Wokeism is rampant in schools. Where are we going to find doctors, lawyers, and teachers, when they don't teach math, chemistry, and physics. Gretzky was even challenged by the cbc for wearing a Canada pin at the Olympics. So sad.
Well if eastern Canadians would have thought long and hard before putting that X beside the liberal candidates name we would not be in this position as Pierre wanted all Canadians to bring more money in our pockets but eastern Canadians for some reason wanted to pay more taxes and have less. Not sure beer sales are down. Beer from the big commercial breweries is hurting because craft beer sales are booming. Simply a case of a better product replacing an inferior one. However the accelerator tax is a bad idea and should be scrapped.
The population as per ctv in NS has decreased somewhat.. recently..interesting.. they are a province of part time jobs.. fishing etc.. so the liberals fight for them.. you know money to live on. I can't see knocking that.. many would travel to alberta and work in the oil fields. Till it snowed and came home.. used imemployment ir what ever ther is availabe to pay thd bills.. amd go back in the spring.

What Canadians need to understand is, when dealing with the US, we are not equals. Whether we want it or not, the US is ten times our size and economy. We need to stop puffing out our chests, take a pill and think of what's good for the country and our economy, not what we think will hurt Trump... he doesn't care about you, he doesn't care about me, he cares about his country... maybe we should too. Instead, we have. a liberal government that only acts in their own self interest and an electorate that simply isn't smart enough to see through Carney's deception.
I'd love to see legislation that would automatically call bi-elections when politicians cross the floor, but how likely will that be under our current political system, when foreign interference is ignored or politicians break the law with no consequences?
Floor crossing is an easy problem to solve; recall legislation. MPs who cross the floor usually say they want to better represent their constituents, often even claim they've consulted. Cool... if your constituents are happy with the MPs choice to change parties, they've nothing to fear. If your constituents are outraged, they will have a mechanism to correct the situation. If there aren't enough signatures, then the MP remains. Past the threshold, there's a by-election.
Recall legislation also has the advantage of when an MP is found to have breached ethics, committed a crime or whatever, their constituents don't have to be satisfied with a slap on the wrist from the Ethics Commish. Get enough signatures, there's a by-election.
