I’d tell you how many jobs this will result in but you probably don’t believe that Germany is even a real country.
Shipping LNG from BC to Germany through the Suez canal is not better for Canada than piping the gas to the east coast for shipment by the direct north Atlantic route.
Canadian producers absorb the cost of the longer shipping route. Ship operators get money that Canadian producers should keep. Even worse, such a pipeline could supply eastern Canada with gas which we now import giving Canadian money to US gas producers and more ship operators.
The Liberals have helped block every proposal for such a pipeline.

That’s how you deal with the affordability issue - by employing more people in higher earning jobs.
That assumes infrastructure spend automatically fixes affordability. Construction jobs are often temporary and capital heavy projects don’t guarantee broad wage growth. GDP expansion, real wage gains or cheaper housing, which depend on productivity and supply constraints.
