Why is it in this country that the discussion is always about ‘government needs to build homes’ ? It’s like we’re in Harold Wilson’s Britain for crying out loud. Government needs to get off the backs of builders, cut fees and red tape, and let the prices come down instead of stoking them with the endless heroin of buyer incentives to ‘help’ Canadians. All that sugar just leads to higher prices…which require more ‘help’…and then eventually a harder crash that really hurts the young buyers. Free markets!
