You can’t make this crap up. Mr Net Zero picks a Diesel electric sub to patrol the Arctic because it’s “superior” to a USA nuclear sub? The man is an absolute moron

Mike Canary's avatar

I hear solar submarines are the way to go. 💥 They are net zero. 😵‍💫

I listened briefly to carnage this am July 7 th on moose you tube, explaining how Canada is joining with Ukraine and taking over the financing of its war with Russia. WTF?

“Ontario is backing a push for a 3,300km West to East pipeline from Hardisty, Alberta to Sarnia, Ontario called Northern Sheild.”

Everybody’s forgotten about the Energy-East pipeline that would have brought oil to the East Coast. Or what about the Alberta-To-Alaska Railway that was suppose to transport cargo and oil to Alaska. Both projects went nowhere and were a waste of time and energy.

Excuse me for being skeptical but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Karen Benz's avatar

I think we have many reasons to be skeptical, unfortunately.

Mike Canary's avatar

A new pipeline in Canada? 😂

Within 24 hours of this Ford/Smith announcement - Wab Kinew will say no. The Ingie dingies will say NO! 💥 PM Carney will send the project into the “Projects office” where Liberals can study how this project will benefit Liberal MPs, insiders, donors. And of course - let’s not forget the carbon ($$$$) capture that needs to be part of any project that could possibly help Canadian prosperity. The study will be complete in 2060, by which time Canadians will be ruptured. 😵‍💫😬🇨🇦

If "Dr." Laidlaw, is the Canada Research Chair in CYBERSECURITY law she should be a little more concerned about CYBERSECURITY rather than being a shill for the government social media cops. She thinks Australia and the UK have it right? She talks optimistically about how age verification will not affect everyone, just children. I've been in IT security for 40 years. There is no way you can restrict access to adults without age verifying EVREYONE. This will all get punted to a new government regulator that I'm sure will do a bang up job, just like the CRTC. No thanks.

As you said Brian, the kids will figure way around any restrictions or they will flock to the sites that are not covered and the government will be left playing whack-a-mole.

Has she ever heard of a VPN. Unless you want to ban VPNs in Canada or make it illegal for sites to accept connections from a VPN, this is all a waste of time and money.

The only good thing is that it will take the government so long to get the new regulator stood up and the rules established that the internet will no longer be a thing by then.

Overheard from Dougie's office where he was practicing:

" Folks, I see how Daniel is getting a bump in the poles with her pipeline talk so I'm announcing a pipeline to our great province of Ontario. And I'm not gonna stop at Thunder Bay and refine that oil, no way! I like pipelines so I'm gonna keep going through all that Canadian Shield and pipeline that oil all the way down to Sarnia. Oh it might increase the price a bit but folks, pipelines are where it's at and I'm gonna get this done...for Ontarians...by 2050, long after most of us are dead and buried. Oh, and pay no attention to that mis-step of Toronto's 5km and 200% over budget transit subway we helped fund. What we learned from that fiasco will keep this trans-Canada fiasco, I mean pipeline - on track - I mean on pipeline becuz I like pipelines. Oh and tunnels, I like tunnels too, like that one under the 401 I proposed. You know tunnels are kinda like pipelines only filled with cars. Thanks for your attention folks"

What a maroon!

I'm having a hard time liking Doug Ford these days. I am a stickler on voting. I think it is our duty and responsibility to do so. I must admit though I am going to have an extremely hard decision next provincial election. I hope I don't have to hold my nose to vote.

What the hell is Carnage Canada doing spending billions of dollars on Military when he should be spending billions of dollars on Canadian infrastructure.

Russia is North of us the US South of us.

Canada is stuck in the middle.

If Carnage Canada thinks he can win a war against either or, he is delusional and needs to get his head out of the sand or out of his ass.

He is a Conman just like Trump.

It would have been cheaper to buy 12 Subway Sandwiches.

The guy is a absolute disaster.

John Powell's avatar

Except unfiltered, Trump is straight up.

Mike Canary's avatar

Why such negativity? 😂

The Liberals are building at speeds never seen before in history. The high speed rail project will move billions from taxpayers at over 300 km/h to Liberal operatives, donors. 🤑 🤑 🤑

Kimmer's avatar

From what I have been reading those SUBS are wrought with corruption!!!!!! READ READ READ

Unfiltered's avatar

What else is knew.

Different day, different scam.

It is one large cess pool of corruption.

Follow the money.

You will find the truth.

Money is the root of evil.

I concur with you, the more you read and research, the shit starts flow to the top.

It’s great to see the solution to Canada’s tanking economy and our declining standard of living, that the Liberal government moved quickly on Censorship and more Government powers bills. 21 of these bills in 14 months.

Brian's avatar

The big destraction!

QuackerCrumbs's avatar

Have had several posts already removed. Ones that don’t align with the censorship bots opinion.

PB's avatar

And this pipeline through Manitoba will get build how? Don’t see Kinew having the fortitude to fight the foreign funded greenies and their anti-pipeline movements

Brian's avatar

Watch Carnage and his Lieberals planning as we speak to squash and shelf this good idea because it would be beneficial for the prosperity of the country, unless of course if Brookfield and his other over a hundred conflicts of interests are involved. This quagmire we are stuck in is like reliving the plot of the movie Groundhog Day.

Kimmer's avatar

Brian you seem to have jumped the gun re Carney and these SUBS, Carney CANNOT be TRUSTED, its all about BROOKFIELD! and it is in big TROUBLE, he is not doing any of this for Canada!

Sandra D Barber's avatar

So, I repeat, once again this question. Exactly WHAT has Mark Carney actually DONE since becoming Prime Minister? Where is any project actually being done???? MOU's are only as good as the paper they are printed on. Please, please, details!!!

Kimmer's avatar

Shoring up Brookfield, I hear the lenders want their money! now this could be false, but with all the turmoil, Carney using an old burner phone (from UK) he has still has and texting EU Leaders to do some pretty nasty stuff!

Scott Newell's avatar

Please tell me what the Hell Canada needs a sub for. Don’t we need a Navy first.

Then maybe a military!!

And to use an American product is just Suicidal Empathy at its best

An absolute Fing Imbecile!

Kimmer's avatar

EXACTLY, and that company is deeply corrupted, from what I have been reading

Doughboy Ford (per usual) getting it wrong. Pipelines to Thunder Bay; bulk storage for bituman and natural gas, liquification plant, and a transfer port to move products to tankers.

That would save 1300 km of pipeline (plus land purchases, FN extortion etc).

Catharina Summers's avatar

Why do politicians such as Prime Minister Carney, Premiers Smith and Ford assume taxpayers are prepared to foot the bills for these pipelines or the rush order on submarines? They need a dose of reality--the taxpayers do not have a money tree growing in their backyards. What they do have are hungry mouths to feed.

Sarah's avatar

Nobody said you weren't quick Brian! 😉. Is there any mention of a German investment in Canadian steel or the set up of factories or anything??

Craig Smith's avatar

Sections of the submarines will be made by Marmen in Canada - this will be key to speeding up production, Valbruna Steel in Welland has a firm 70 ton order for high tech non magnetic submarine steel with more to come, Finkl Steel will be making stainless steel, there will be torpedo production in Canada, etc.

This helps!
