Canada does have plenty of refining capacity however we are still constrained by the price of oil and distillates as they are commodities. When world prices go up, our price at the pumps goes up too. But at least we should not have fuel shortages, like other countries are dealing with.

Matt also indicates that the price of diesel (and shortage of same) is much more important and relevant than merely looking at the price of oil.
Well Diesel is less refined then Gasoline. It is cheaper to make and carries the vehicle much further. So being that you can go further on it. They raise the taxes for it. I believe this is an attack on Canadian Produce and industry. Seems to me it is being done on purpose in order to usher in their WEF 2030 world globalist agenda.
