The reality is the big draw for investment in Canadian manufacturing, be it domestic or international, is access to the American market. The U.S. has a little over 300 million more folks than us in a consumer driven economy.
Besides the milder climate, this is another reason 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles from the U.S. border.
