Danielle Smith is doing a much better job than Mark Carney in attracting investment into the country. My fear is that many of these projects will never see the light of day as so many special interest groups are immediately up in arms. Likely many of the same people that like their government benefits. When will Canadians realize the money has to come from somewhere? And when will government stop kowtowing to these people and get stuff done???

Realizing they are picking other people's pockets wouldn't stop them.

Time for Alberta Independence-- it's the only way Alberta gains leverage!! time to take control and decide how much influence outside groups have.

"“Lecturing countries from afar is an ineffective strategy. It’s satisfying, but it’s ineffective,” Carney said."

Translation - "Lecturing Muslim and Arab countries may cost me votes and does literally nothing, so I'll let them continue - but make no mistake - I'll keep telling at Israel and putting Jew haters in positions of power over Jewish safety" - mark carney

Muslim values are Carney's values. That must mean he beats women and rapes children.

Carney creates his own narrative to suit his needs in the moment. He did not live up to his campaign promise of negotiating with Trump, so he rebuked Trudeau's foreign policy. He has yet to act in Canada's best interest!

“A feasibility study with Ontario Premier Doug Ford for an all-new Canadian pipeline from Hardisty, Alberta, to Sarnia, Ontario”

It sounds good. It feels good. But these politicians are all talk and no action. I’ve seen this rodeo before. In 1980, Pierre Trudeau introduced the National Energy Program to secure Canadian energy self-sufficiency and link our pipelines east. It failed. Fast forward to 2017, and the Energy-East pipeline went nowhere. It failed.

Shall I keep going?

The idea didn’t fail, it was canceled by Trudeau and the Liberals.

Québec was staunchly against it... JT isn't going to go against the francophones....

"While it’s true that the Major Projects Office Carney established said they had no projects ready..."

Just when you thought investing in Canada couldn't get any worse, he added another useless bureaucracy, another hurdle to jump. He'd better sign our economy over to his Chinese masters soon or there will be nothing left, and we'll only be useful to them for slave labour and somewhere to put military bases.

The AI data center scares me. Most of the pipeline talk is hot-air meant to fool Albertans that Canada is listening. I still support Alberta ‘s secession. I do not trust Liberals to do ANYTHING that benefits Alberta.

Definitely Time for Alberta Independence!
