Now it was announced today that China too has negotiated a trade deal with the US - and that Trump and Xi will meet next week. My gosh - even China has a trade deal now ? Malaysia and several other Asian nations who Mark Blarney wants to expand trade with have also signed deals with the US in the past 48 hours. Trump will be meeting with the Emperor of Japan and then their new Prime Minister as well. So let me ask any Liberal supporters out there - how is it that Canada has yet to sign one trade deal with anyone - yet again, while Trump flies over and within 48 hours he has signed or negotiated 5, so far. This is a repeat of what we saw in Europe. Mark Blarney has flown over there 5 times now and he has come home with literally nothing. Not one trade deal with anyone - meanwhile Trump flew in for 48 hours and signed 4 trade deals back to back. It’s nothing but a huge waste of taxpayer money and time to send Mark Blarney anywhere. I agree with Ben Mulroney about Trump’s script flip on the ad, but the Supreme Court isn’t the concern. Trump is now facing backlash on his tariffs from all sides because of Ford’s ad and there’s nothing Trump hates more than negative press. So his response, as Ben points out, is typical Trump. Then we have Carney and Ford. Anyone who still believes MC wants a deal with the US has not been paying attention.
