This article made me so sad! What happened to us? What happened to the tolerance we have been preaching? In 10 years Canada is no longer recognized by most Canadians. I am looking to move to the US as well. I don’t want to live in an antisemitic country. I am not Jewish- I am Catholic. I see the writing on the wall. Jews leave, then I want to leave. What will our country be in another 10 years if we continue down this road?

In a very real sense, however, I cannot take that approach simply because I have adult children and grandchildren and, even if I am gone, they will be left to live in this mess. I have for a number of years been aware that my adult children might move south and my wife and I simply know that they have to do what is best for them and their family. Sadly, it seems to me that it is increasingly likely that our kids and grandkids will be moving, simply because of the economy and the society that we have become.
For many of we who support the separatist side in Alberta, we are unhappy at what Canada has done to Alberta but we are also very, very, very aware that Canada has changed and simply doesn't value diversity of viewpoints, diversity of religion and so forth. That is why we wanted and want to leave this country.
This country is not at all what we had; times change, people change, countries change. The problem is not change, for that always and must happen; the problem is that what is being denied our children and grandchildren.

One example was a lady that I met and what was World's gym on Pape Avenue back in the day. People are people to me and I don't ask what your religious beliefs or your political standings are.
This lady her name is Susan and we had a very common interest in weightlifting and physical fitness and we started to hang out together. One day she looked at me and said you treat me so well, you know I'm jewish?
I was kind of taken back by the question because it didn't matter to me. How she treated people how she carried herself who she was as a person as an individual, those things mattered. So I asked her what does that have to do with the cost of tea in China? We were friends for many years until we both moved away.
I also know from reading "The Word" for all these years and applying it to my own life. That this hatred of God's people whether you're Jewish or Christian, is going to increase.
