I live in a Bordertown and have been to the US a few times, ignoring the boycott which I find ridiculous. I'm at the point in my life where I don't like the government telling me what to do and how to live my life. Happy holidays to everyone including our American Neighbors!

So many freedom loving Canadians are sabotaging freedom by voting Liberal. A Liberal or NDP government facilitates the takeover of Canada by the People’s Republic of China. Followers of Islam sabotage their freedom of religion by voting for Liberal or NDP. The Chinese communist regime is atheist, wanting the people to worship only the party and persecuting those who praise God. Jews won’t stand a chance in a China controlled Canada. Yet many Canadians vote for corrupt, soft on China Liberals.
Every time the Liberals screw us and go after Poilievre or Smith, it is one more vote for independence. Liberals think the West is fooling around, we're not. Note the concern when Quebec had a referendum, Canadians pouring into Quebec to plead with them to stay. Alberta will have a referendum next October. The Liberals do nothing, confident that there is no fear of losing the country and the West will just shut up and comply, like we've done for over 100 years! Not this time folks. If I were in the east, I would be very concerned about killing off the goose that lays golden eggs, especially in the Maritimes and Quebec. Or, we can just continue this way and there will be fireworks on Independence day!
While I understand some of Alberta's citizens wanting to go it alone, and you certainly can with the resources you have in your Province, for your sake DO NOT attempt to join the USA!
You may like the government there now, but you won't like the next Democrat government,whenever that happens. No sense trading one set of masters for another. Alberta and Saskatchewan together, form an alliance with the USA for trade and military services, and good luck to you.
If any traitors crossed the floor right after the election, one an election needs to be called right away, the traitor must return and donations to the conservatives that gave him money to help his campaign, then they must pay out of their pocket for being a traitor and leaving the party. Want to see this bs stop. Are you conservatives that voted stand by and be made fools of?
So call up your local CPC MP's office and ask them if they will table a bill to make floor crossing illegal and force a byelection. I did, and still haven't heard back, though it is the holiday season for parliament. But in 158 years, no Conservative government ever sought to change the current rules.
There is something deeply gross about what is happening in Canadian politics. The Liberal party scrapes by an election win and lauds itself, even though they had the mainstream media putting their thumb on the scale. They laud and celebrate floor crossers, even though it is a form of cheating because they are likely offering "incentives" to those people. Where did ethics, loyalty and self-respect go? And Canadians criticize Trump and American politics? I'd like the media to harass the Liberal party to disclose the "incentives" they offered so we can have some true transparency. I find it very weird that what is constantly coming across my media feed are negative stories about Pierre, but nothing negative about Carney, even though he is the one in power. The "powers that be" must be very afraid of Pierre becoming Canadian prime minister.
Who chooses the people that run for the party? I wonder why that process was so weak in vetting the candidates they put forward.

That is a laughable statement! LOL! Lilley does have a conservative bias, but not nearly as "right" slanted as most of the msm in Canada is LEFT-slanted. The guy does a damned good job reporting on issues the msm doesn't like to mention.
