Kudo's to Danielle Smith! it's a tough job but someone has to stand up and deal with it and she's just the person to do it!
As for the Marineland whales... the bureaucratic answer to everything in Canada is "Kill it!"... veterans, ostriches, belugas, people suffering from mental illness and on and on and on. To those bureaucrats I ask, "When they come to cull you, who do you think will stand up to protect you?"
As far as Imperial Oil’s decision to lay off 900 people in Calgary - you are correct - this a a direct result of the Liberals playing fast and loose with what their actual policy is on oil. I recall very vividly the exact scenario you referred to where Carney made a campaign stop in Calgary and while not openly saying he would revisit bill C-69, the cap on oil production, and the BC tanker ban, he told them he was open to exploring the options. Then he jumped on a plane to Quebec and within 24 hours he told them that no pipelines would be built through Quebec. It’s just one of the many webs of lies he and misdirections he engaged in during the campaign. I am not going to string that together or this comment would look like a doctoral thesis. I would also not be too hard on the Liberal MP from Alberta who voted with his party against eliminating the oil production cap. Let’s look at it from this perspective - did any Liberal vote against the government on that bill ? The answer is NO. And for the same reason it’s disingenuous for any Liberal to say that before Poilievre was the Conservative leader he voted against bills the Liberals put forward. In the Parliamentary system of government that we have - the leader tells the Cabinet and the caucus - “we are bringing a motion forward on this item” and guess what - every MP in that party is obligated to vote for it. It’s not the USA where every vote is a ‘ free” vote - you get to vote your conscience and if that goes against your party or your leader - too bad. In Canada’s system of government “ free” votes are extremely rare, instead you are obliged to vote with your party and your party does what the leader tells it to do, There are punishments if you do not do what you are told. - a suspension from caucus, relived of and committees you serve on or Parliamentary Secretary position - all which increase your pay to being out and out banished from the party entirely. It has happened. So let’s not be to harsh on that poor MP. Unfortunately for him , his day of reckoning will come during the next election when his constituents will have their say. Lastly - that Danielle Smith - isn’t she something special. She is by far the best Premier in the country. She fights like hell for her people, she takes action not words and she tells it like it is. I hope someone can convince her to run for PM down the line. She will fix Canada.
Well it looks like Joanne Thompson is in the wrong portfolio her decision on the 30 Beluga whales is not in the whales best interest and is a death sentence as stated in the letter she received, but she obviously knows better than the experts, I hope she sleeps well , there is nothing more a person can say other than she should step aside and let the sanctuary go ahead with its plan to send to the only place in the world that they can live out their lives in some semblance of safety and comfort!
Seems the Carney cabinet is full of activists with their own agenda, in the case of the belugas it appears she rather sees them dead then be transferred to the worlds top facility for marine mammals located in China. I assume she never asked the whales😆
Totally ignoring the advice of marine land specialists in favour of her rag tag bunch of purple/green haired activists. Carney delivering the goods.........no pipelines, maintain the alberta cap on production, recognize a non existent Palestine, keep in place the tanker ban and bill. 39, the no pipelines act. Good going Carney.........aptly named Trudeau 2.
***Alberts has the second highest unemployment rate.. as per blacklocks reporter .
***Carney said from day 1 he would not reverse bill C69. Guess not if hes a green initiative guy and his wife writes about it...
Carney wasn't labeled the "reluctant boyfriend " by England for nothing.
He promises alot and delivers little or nothing. So now Alberta knows he means it. Do what you need to do, to make $ for the province. Jmo.
***if the whales can not be sent to china because our laws say ..whales are not to be kept in capitivty. How did they get permits for Marineland.
***I think the indigenous people need to be consulted on this. If nothing else is going to happen for these whales. ***Euthanasia ? They deserve better., after all they never got to keep the money they made for Marineland..
And do not forget that Mark Carney sits quietly on his hands in Europe with his wife, as 400 ostriches are being lined-up against a British Columbia wall to be assassinated, for nothing but the lying WEF and Leftist control freaks.
A massive waste of time, money and effort that would be better spent on educating Albertans on the merits of separation. Do you really think he’s going to cave and approve a pipeline? I don’t.
Well I fooled you fools and your foolish brains over and over, I am still laughing so hard that I fooled you too vote for me, and I will fool you again, those whales will make fine sushi
I hope you are making Canadians money #MarkCarney? So far, as witnessed for over 10 long years now, the #Left are hazardous to my health, wealth, and lifespan!

It’s pathetic isn’t it?
"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly," Les Nesman.
"As God as my witness, I thought tame belugas could survive in the ocean," Joanne Thompson.
WKRP reruns just might be good for the psyche. A little distraction

Whales, ostriches, or just plain Canadians. Carney is screwing us all with his craven tyranny.
The minister of oceans is quoted as saying” I was looking in the eyes of the beluga “ and they evidently told her they wanted to go to the oceans.
Extraordinary nonsense
1.1 trillion debt
6.00 dollar loaves of bread
Unfettered unvetted immigration
Canada is collapsing , while Carney is making business deals
For Brookfield

typical liberal incompetence Joanne!
Robin the Rebel
Don't liberals always think they know better than anyone?
After 10 years of the Liberal destruction of Canada, how did Mark Carney get elected? Cheating? Again??

Smith is terrific, keep those projects with the Indigenous folks rolling!
She is incredible. Wish she was our prime minister!
Alberta is very glad she is our Premier!
Premier Smith is proactive and has Alberta and Canada’s best interests at the forefront . She has my confidence.
Minister Thompson is either living under a rock or has no compassion for these animals. As long as her constituents are happy, nothing else matters.
Danielle Smith and Moe from Saskatchewan the 2 premiers who look after their people and province. That they may stay in power for long time to come!

We use to say. SAVE THE WHALES.
they dont deserve to DIE..

Liberal woke idjuts playing to their pie in the sky base.
A perfect chance to have some diplomacy with China.
The Left are Opportunities, well wasted. I wonder if Mark will get wasted, as much as Justin did?
Then they came for the whales, and because I was not a whale - I didn’t speak up….😬 🇨🇦
Kudos to her on this initiative. Great Job.
Love from Québec
