There is no way most western Conservatives think Corney is doing even a half decent job,he said elbows up, fight Trump and elbows have been down as he bends the knee to Trump, when Polllievres rallies were huge, he then stole his platform, bribed the east with money and promises, threatened immigrants to vote and lied right to our faces. Those of us that cant be manipulated and have not been given money and promises but have been stripped of our way of life arent at all believing a word he says. I say look around and start including all of Canada in your statements, they a very general and you dont have the pulse of the West, as again you parrot eastern Canada talking points.

And I am from Ontario and from my southwest Ontario point of view, Brian, unfortunately lives in a designated Sanctuary City, where Hamassholes Street Pray, and RCMP and Police are very afraid. Carney is just implementing what he couldn't when JT was PM. All of the GTA is a shite hole. Ford called an election, "no on wanted" except Doug Ford and Kory! Doug Ford is a RED TORY, he loves the liberal ways, heck he handed out $200 cheques to every Ontarian before hos BS election. Brian tries, I have seen him on Bridge City News, but Brian comes from the BIG SMOKE point of view.

With Respect Allison, Many Canadians Don’t Do Any Research. We Have One Party In Canada. All Compromised. Including The Conservatives & Pierre P.

Pierre P. Voted With The Liberals 646 times out of 888 Votes. His name was on the WEF. Mulroney/Harper signed Agenda 2021 & 2030. Harper also signed FIPA. Piierre P chair was on the Wilileaks Clinton, Child trafficking List. We don’t have to fight President Trump. President Trump has done more for Canada than any of our politicians have. He supported the Freedom Rally. If it wasn’t for him & the USA Military we would have had an additional 50,000 Communist Troops Infiltrate Canada. In turn, Canada was involved in Covid- Winnipeg Lab. The 2020 USA Fraudulent Election. Trying To Assassinate President Trump.Child Trafficking, Fentanyl, ISIS, etc.

Ever heard of public opinion polls? Here's a summary of recent polls: https://www.opinionsandratings.com/top-stories/mark-carney-approval-rating-polls

It includes this: "Nearly three months after the federal election, Prime Minister Mark Carney appears to be solidifying his national support while Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre faces slipping momentum, according to a new Research Co. poll. Carney now leads Poilievre by 16 points in preferred prime minister rankings (47% to 31%), with even Alberta voters showing a slight preference for Carney (42%) over Poilievre (40%)."

Ha ha...how many Liberals were polled? Much like our fake election full of bribes and false 0romises, threatening immigrants to vote right or get deported. Where was this poll? What province? Thats not the whole population but it will be soon as we keep letting gimmigrants unvetted to cross our weak border.

I do not understand why you are not looking at the global issues that will affect our little country, If Carney keeps aligning with the EU, we are going to be broke. Carney needs to drop the green agenda. His conflicts are huge and we ,all Canadians are going to foot the bill.

I too am both very concerned & curious as to why WAY more (including you Brian😉) aren’t doing their research about Carney & his 💯 true mafia role in the “green energy arena”. I listened to an incredible interview of a woman who worked right up close with Carney in the big “green investment cartel”. A whistleblower. She is not the only one. I am not of any political affiliation (nobody coming to save us) but it is way overdue to start telling the TRUTH. About these mobster “politicians”.

Canada has become a far left country of whiners, & frankly Alberta & Sask should cut their losses & bail. For 158 years we've had a successful resource-based economy. Ten years ago the despicable Marxist Liberals with their net zero climate dementia tried changing that basic economic fact, through wave after wave of stealth bureaucratic BS that hit hard much of our resource sector: in oil & gas, mining, fisheries, forestry, & ag. This was a deliberate take-down of our national economy by Liberal Party climate zealots.

The Prime Minister’s greatest asset is that he isn’t Justin Trudeau and Carney and his team aren’t bashful about reminding us, either through talking points or altering or abandoning signature pieces of the Trudeau “legacy”. See: carbon tax

Those of us who watch the Liberal Party in action far closer than the average voter can only be impressed with how the Big Red Machine can get away with appearing to do one thing but cleverly doing something else. Canadians were seduced by the promise of a central banker to bring some fiscal sanity back to Ottawa. The first thing Carney did was to refuse to table a budget in time for the quickie session of Parliament. Things were too uncertain, everyone was tired we were told and yet the eye watering amounts of money being spent and pledged without any budgetary framework continued unabated. That’s a very Justin Trudeau model of operation. Carve out Parliament from the ability to scrutinize spending and give the public the finger while they are at it.

I’m not impressed. The goodwill is a mile wide and as thin as Saran Wrap, so Carney needs to start producing or his honeymoon with voters will be short.

You state that the longest ballot issue needs to be changed, but it won't be before the Battle Creek election. Why not? Why aren't the Conservatives - and everyone else in Canada - screaming into the ether on this subject? This is not an issue of a flawed electoral process, or any other euphemism you can come up with. What you're saying is that basically, yes, this is fraud, but there's nothing to be done about it. Well, I call BS on that. That it has happened exactly twice in the recent past, and both times to Poilievre, is a measure of how concerned the Liberals are about him. This crime is being orchestrated by the Liberal Party and by no one else. Anyone who believes otherwise is either a dyed-in-the-wool Liberal, or does not have the mandatory number of functioning brain cells required to cast a vote.

It is not enough to simply kick this issue down the road where it will eventually be lost in the fog of the next and inevitable Liberal scandal.

This issue, and the many other electoral irregularities, combined with the fact that we have reelected all the traitorous MP's and Cabinet Ministers listed on the NSICOP report, if not resolved, will signify the end of our democracy.

I don't possess a tin foil hat. The above is not hyperbole. These are democratic existential issues and the mainstream media, including the Sun, are treating them with a laissez faire "It's just politics as usual" attitude.

Can't the Conservatives or the 'real' Independent candidates apply for an injunction or something?

I still don't understand why the Longest Ballot group didn't target a Liberal riding in the last election. They say they want election reform by protesting the government.

Louise, like you, I cannot understand why the Conservatives are not fighting this issue tooth-and-nail.

The "Longest Ballot Group" are NOT independent, they are a Liberal front. Two separate hundred-candidate ballots; one in Poilievre's Carlton riding, and now, one in Polievre's Battle Creek riding. This is not a coincidence and there is no rocket science involved. This is a totally, start-to-finish, Liberal perpetrated and orchestrated crime.

What it shows are a few things. The corruption of both the liberal party and also Elections Canada. The fear of Poilievre. Never PP. The laissez faire attitude of the majority of Canadians. The fear of retribution from speaking up. The weakness of the CPC. If they believe in fairness then they should be broadcasting this from the rooftops.

After only a few months Carney & his treasonous party constitute the sleaziest government Canada has ever seen. Carney is a beta male academic fraud p.o.s. He's deservedly outright despised. Something is brutally wrong that such an unpopular wimp 'won' an election when his rallies were held in coffee shops while Poilievre's were held in stadiums. And we're paying a steep steep price now for slimy Liberal cheating.

I’m not even remotely impressed with Carney or Poilievre. There is nothing that either of them will offer to convince me that Alberta should remain in Canada. Empty promises for a pipeline to be completed in 10 or 12 years doesn’t cut it especially knowing that it will be run by the federal government.

I still believe the election was stolen by the Liberals when Carney rallies were held in coffee shops & Poilievre's rallies were held in stadiums. And most aspects of the election were like that, grotesque cheating, period. Yet Canadians go along, don't question, don't protest. And why? It really strikes me that Canada has become a far left country on balance, despite much of the West being conservative. And the Liberals have become corrupt & only stay in play for the power & money involved. It's a steep uphill battle for any conservative to win, & the subversion by Liberals is non-stop. So that's where we are.

The ONLY solution is for the West to exit this Marxist Dominion is some shape or form before their future is destroyed by the Liberals' climate dementia program to irrationally continue shutting down Canada's resource economy. Russia faces the same crisis, a resource-rich economy being stealth-attacked by Europe (relentless expansion of NATO), forcing Russia to finally respond. And now predatory Europe is going all out for WW3. Canada faces the same from Trump now, & Carney wants closer ties with the EU, which will only deepen the targeting of Canada. Canada appears weak & invites this behavior.

My hopes for Canada are dwindling; Alberta & Sask need to leave & be independent, not join the US, establish deals to have oil & gas exporting port access on the BC coast, Arctic coast, & Atlantic coast. Plus pipelines if course. The Liberals just want to shut oil & gas down entirely so any pipeline deal from them won't be serious. Smith should move forward aggressively on her 2027 exit from Canada timeline. Let Canada in its socialist torpor surrender to the US or EU.

Carney is terrible. He makes it worse than Trudeau because he has buffaloed the east into thinking he's doing good things. The carbon tax is back, just renamed. He talks tough to us, and then caves with Trump in the room. Every time he caves to Trump, something gets better for us... he's uniquely weak.

Pierre is gonna have to win the by-election. He's gonna have to ditch his eastern advisors and go hard right. He cannot be another centrist. Centrism is basically dead. And good. Let it go. It's time for a radical re-ordering of Canadian public life. If we don't get it, then we are looking at Albertan Independence. We will have to go it alone if we wish to preserve our civilization.
