Carney is a corrupt coward. “ Mr Wonderful” O’Leary suggest carney goes to meet Trump.

Instead king carney meets visiting US senators.

Pathetic.

Your take is correct.

Trump is right.

The continued liberal manipulation of all things government is frightening.

The CBC is a very bad joke, bordering on a crime. To continue showering taxpayer money on this travesty of a Public Broadcaster is a clear message from the newly anointed PM. That message is: "Business as usual. We will carry on with Trudeau's 'legacy'" Nauseating. My personal math - admittedly somewhat fuzzy - shows that the CBC (the taxpayer) is spending $155.75 million annually for each regular viewer. Wonder how that would play out in a competitive environment.

Regarding the Long Ballot I've submitted this letter to Electikns Canada and await their reply

"Why are there names on the ballot with no faces. The Long Ballot PARTY should be criminally investigated. You are nit administering your job properly. I'd like to know the procedure to have you investigated. This is election Interference. Targeting Pierre bby following him is not random, therefore, harassment and stalking. Removing accessibility to vote for your candidate by causing confusion. is against the Charter. Charge The Long Ballot Party for 3 charges. "

Rooted in parliamentary courtesy

Grok 4 “Yes, in past Canadian political practice, there was a longstanding custom—rooted in parliamentary courtesy—where major political parties often refrained from fielding official candidates (or at least avoided vigorous campaigning) in by-elections specifically arranged to allow a newly elected party leader or a sitting prime minister who had lost their seat to enter or re-enter the House of Commons. This tradition stemmed from the Westminster system’s emphasis on ensuring party leaders could participate in parliamentary debates, as leaders are not required to hold a seat to be appointed (e.g., as prime minister), but it is highly impractical for them to lead without one. The custom was more common in the early to mid-20th century and applied to both governing and opposition leaders, though it was not always strictly followed and has become rarer in modern times.

How the Process Typically Worked

• If a party leader (including an opposition leader) did not hold a seat—either because they were newly chosen as leader outside of parliament or lost their riding in a general election—a member of their own party in a “safe” riding (one with strong historical support for the party) would resign to trigger a by-election.

• The leader would then be nominated to run in that by-election.

• As a courtesy, other major parties would often decline to nominate candidates, leading to the leader winning by acclamation (uncontested) or facing only minimal opposition (e.g., from independents or fringe candidates). This allowed the leader to take their seat quickly and focus on national leadership rather than a local contest.

This practice was not enshrined in law but was a convention of political decorum, …”

There is no decency in the Liberal Party only adherence to the Communist China Party’s direction. _Having such a continuation of the obviously Trudeau-Legacy for FIVE decades is truly confirmation of the Globalist collusion with the C.C.P.’s plan of control for North America resources - read Egypt during Roman Hegemony as the critical historical- meme. _There is little effect of changing the scheme(s) of a China on the cusp of change! _The only practical step is for recognition of the sleazily following practices. __MikeSr

Travis, you are not allowed to “Quit” the CBC until they give you permission to do so, until then you are a hostage to the system.

Welcome to Justin Trudeau’s anti-liberal post-national utopia.

Many independence minded ALBERTANS have stopped caring about ‘Canada’ and really just want to get away from the CORRUPT INEPT INTRANSIGENT so called FEDERAL Government.

There is NO ADVANTAGE to being attached to this ships anchor.

Once i was a proud ‘Canadian’ however since I have been studying my family history and it’s connection to THE WEST IE) “RUPERT”S LAND” and the raw deal that the then ‘Canadian Government’ of the time and in the 158 years since has treated THE WEST has thoroughly changed my point of view.

Not necessarily WEXIT, however, WEXIT if necessary.

“Canada’ would STARVE without WESTERN ENERGY ROYALTIES and the seriously excessive Taxation of all of it’s citizens.

Most people I know have migrated to an Alberta first and Canada only as a last option mind set.

Ottawa is planning (bribing is a more truthfull word choice) on getting the FN's to side against Albert sovereignty.

Getting away from today's Canada is the obvious choice.

I agree Canada would die a miserable death without Alberta, Saskatchewan and East BC. For that reason the eastern oligarchs will ensure China’s People’s Liberation Army, fortified by terrorists and our own soldiers. Our own will dutifully obey orders from the Ottawa command Centre to topple the governments who lead a WEXIT. In short, WEXIT won’t happen. We need to ensure through the loyal opposition and our own creativity that Conservatives win a Majority Government. The Liberals will slip up and when they do Pierre and Conservatives must be ready. They must be recruiting right minded liberals, independents and the PPC. I cannot believe there are not a dozen or two who would put the country ahead of themselves and their corrupt Liberal

party.

Re Longest Ballot. Toronto has had a long mayoral ballot problem for years. I don't want to increase the registration cost, as that would smack of elitism.

How about if Elections Canada applies a regulation for ALL Canadian elections, municipal, provincial & federal, that says if more than 10 nominees are registered, we have a first election where only the top 10 go on to the final ballot? Such a reg would need some Constitutional jerry-rigging but would probably be worth it.

Lets clear out the undergrowth.

Nice to know the Amish and Mennonites will cooperate with medical investigators enough to act as a control group. Not suggesting we all move back to barns... not enough barns out there...

I read the Hutterite/Amish allergy issue with interest.

While it is noteworthy that exposure to farm animals may provide relief from allergies in children, the stabling differences between Hutterite operations and Amish are significant. Hutterite barns are highly automated, restricted access areas. Disease control is paramount and washing and sanitizing empty barns is routine. There would be limited exposure to beneficial animal flora for children in Hutterite barns even if they were allowed inside, which they are not. Hutterite barns are also single species environments. There is no mingling of pigs with chickens or turkeys for example.

By contrast, Amish barns are a traditional animal housing facility where different species intermingle and are allowed to go outside. These animals provide a true spectrum of animal flora to anyone working with and around them. Children participate in animal care on Amish farms and learn animal husbandry at the side of knowledgeable people in the process.

The CBC’s programs are heavily biased most of the time. Journalists do not do ANY investigative research because the coverage would be vastly different on the bias & slant of many stories! They would be much closer to the truth ! People might even turn off FOX for 5 minutes. Socialism is pervasive. On panels there are mostly LIBS/NDP’s & a usually pink Tory who has quit the Conservative party but is still making a living as a Conservative panelist !! He’s a Socialist and that is why he was called a pink Tory in the first place. So now the panel is composed of all LIBS/NDP’s & everybody is on the same page-totally unified but biased coverage!!

The J K Rowling coverage could have used some investigation or an interview but nope, stick with the Legacy News script ! And now back to FOX.

I was planning on reading your post as I like to get different perspectives; however, I bogged down right at the outset when you referred to the CBC as our ‘state’ broadcaster. That’s so obviously wrong as to be ludicrous. Surely you know the difference between a ‘state’ broadcaster that is a controlled mouthpiece for government and a ‘publicly-funded’ broadcaster that operates independently?

It’s hard to take you seriously as a real journalist with your bias so obvious in your posts. Sigh.

Far more would agree with the author that CBC carries water for the Liberal Party supporting their policies without proper argument or investigation. Ludicrous is the idea that CBC operates independently.
