I feel sad for Basem Boshra! I also, on behalf of all Canadians, want to apologize to Basem Boshra for ever giving him the impression that these kind of outlandishly weak and effeminate statements would ever be acceptable in a country where our grandfather’s spilled their blood so that men who lack intestinal fortitude can carry these kinds of sentiments and publicly vomit them on the rest of us.

Jimmy, that was a pleasure and an honour to read.

Well-done.

Thank you for the compliment. I’m 50, just lost my Dad 15 days ago and I’ve made up my mind…. I am no longer offering society the filter I have chosen to have in the past. I’ll honour both of my parents in my treatment of others but will never again bend a knee to a government in this country let alone some bureaucratic putz who lost his balls to his wife’s purse.

We need more folks like you, Jimmy.

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your Father.

I have a notion he would be very proud of you.

Yes, indeed; please post again.

For a Detroit fan, I’m guessing you live close! I’m in Sarnia, Ontario. You? I’ve been a diehard Tigers fan since my Grandfather took me to Game 3 of the ‘84 series.

London. That’s pretty close.

Good guess!!

I’m a Realtor and work very closely on the daily with a couple of builders/developers in London Middlesex. Good to know I’ve got one more friend in the world and so close to home is great. Cheers Donald!

CBC is a joke and their propaganda needs to be stopped - read that as no more funding!! Carney is trying to maintain his majority, while meeting his commitments to the WEF and his globalist buddies.

Brian Rushfeldt's avatar

So I am justified in asking is this CBC employee a terrorist supporter ?

JimmyJRS's avatar

Sympathizer and supporter!

Carney is a fraud. A deceiver. Elizabeth Nickson summed it up better than most. Look at his staff and advisors. Other than the brilliant political strategist , but sadly flawed, Butts , Carney is running an off shore democratic party offensive at the expense of Canadians.

It is impossible to ignore that China is front and center on this , and carney is seriously indebted to the CCP.

Canada? Canadians?

Serfs.

His staff are people who are experienced in their various portfolios and who are NOT politicians. He did a good job of choosing people who only have Americans best interests at heart. No previous President has done that - gotten civilians, not politicians involved in governance.

And one more thing. The provincial premiers, and even ( OMG) Ontario municipal mayors in an election season , are all piling on the “ buy Canadian, we will beat the evil Trump” mantra.

Make a deal. Like how hard is it? Industry is leaving Canada faster than a speeding bullet

Quote “Woodward Inc. (Woodward Canada Inc.), is an aerospace manufacturer at 2000 Fisher Drive in Peterborough, Ontario.

The U.S.-based company (headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado) announced on July 14, 2026, that it will close the plant by August 31, 2027, and shift production in phases to its facility in Krakow, Poland (specifically Niepołomice near Krakow). About 165 jobs will be affected. Some engineering support is also moving to Sofia, Bulgaria.

The plant produces specialized electromechanical aviation parts “

For the last six quarters, more businesses have left or closed than have opened.

We have a brain drain as more permanent residents and citizens are packing up and leaving each year.

We have a very serious “entrepreneurial deficit” as no one in his right mind would open a business in this Country under its current economic, tax, regulatory, and political regime.

But wait…. We are hearing “fellow Canadians to now prepare for hardship” … where have I heard that before recently… hmmm I wonder if all our lofty hippocrats up on their high floutin hill will also shoulder our hardships and take a big pay cut!! 😒, easy to say no deal America but WHO is going to help us blue collar peasants carry this extra burden?

I believe this whole trade talk business was played by Canada with China in the rear view mirror!

Carney is likely the creepiest politician that ever walked on Earth,, he has some and dark plans mirroring WEF.

Rick Steward's avatar

Yes there is no doubt CBC is a joke and a fraud media organization. If anyone listens or watches CBC they only get dumber and less informed.

Tomas's avatar

Without the CBC we'd be living in 2015 Canada!

John Powell's avatar

And another thing. Lol

I’m so angry. GM have been leaving Canada ever since Trudeau took over , if not before. Stellantis are broke. They took a handout , said nice things and then? Gone. Ford appeared to hang in. Not any more. Now Honda have said they will Leave , and Toyota echoed the same thing.

The key is the US market. So while carney tries to meddle in the midterms using trade as an excuse, to satisfy his Chinese masters we are all screwed.

How bad is it ? How long before Postmedia folds?

How long before Carney destroys my CPP/OAS?

Death looks more attractive every day

PS R.I.P Dolly Parton ; what a great lady !

Yes, but it's not all about car and trucks per se. It's what's *in* the cars and trucks, and other goods. I recommend this article for all those interested in drilling down into the details of and learning some 'behind the scenes' difficulties with the trade talks. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/08/trade-compliance-word-of-the-day-transshipment/

Really eye opening article. Thank you

KZwick's avatar

Could you imagine if the CBC covered that story? Wow. But that isn't what they are going to do.

Robert Labossiere's avatar

9/11 was an attach on capitalism. CBC is socialist and always has been. Stop listening.

Robert Labossiere's avatar

CUSMA is the deal. It was the deal and is the deal. The rest is BS.

Cheryl Ziola's avatar

Suspect Carney wanted the deal to fail so he could do another Covid-style support spending spree just before a by-election. Certainly buys votes to pretend he’s the big man on campus and buying votes by borrowing more money on our tab.

David's avatar

Except he is not spending government money but tax payers .. the fact that Canadians continue to ignore ..

Lord Chancellor's avatar

9/11 was an inside job. University of Alaska did a study and their findings contradict the government's conclusions regarding the Twin Towers

John's avatar

Oh come on.....Carney wants no part of a trade deal as long as his 'base' loves the elbows up crap....he would be happy to throw Oil and Gas under the bus just to show how tough he is with other peoples livelyhoods.....

Robert Flannery's avatar

Trade negotiations are in a bad place both sides are using this to raise money I lieu of taxes, the insults and counter tariff on gas exports will result in the line 5 shutdown
