Canada joining the EU needs to have input from Canadians. There should be a vote .

When Canadastan gets a pipeline out East, then we should consider EU Associate Membership. Until then, Canadastan needs to grow up.

Such a pernicious and arrogant man. It’s going to cost Canada big to vex ourselves of this demon.

Sadly to many amongst us hear and see the truth but are resigned to believe his lies.

Talking about global threats constantly, saying that he’s investing in Canada’s military, he fear mongers about Canadian sovereignty, all while disarming Canadians, recruiting foreigners into our woefully ill equipped poorly led military, while smiling as our Arctic sovereignty is stripped from our auspicious.

Then there’s tightening censorship of Canadians, driving business out of country and doubling the debt that would have seen his predecessor defeated in a Federal election.

And look at the conditions in the EU, seems even worse than Canada

By going with the EU we lose our sovereignty. NO FREAKING WAY! Think people!

How many times can his supporters believe his wishy washy dealings? Time to pay the piper aka the people of Canada are done with his fantasy … because he doesn’t live in the real world

That old saying ..you can fool some of the people some of the time ,but you can't fool all the people all the time.

Hes looking for deals, but the right ones..as in the one for $70 million dollar with Iran. Not sure about that.

Liberals are advertising the alto line on tv .. quebec has said its not interested.. want to spend money elsewhere.

So ,who paying for that add and how much? Great article, and discussion.

Given the Liberal record of the last 12 years, lack of transparency, and lack of honesty from PM Mark Carney - you can be sure that any “alignment” with the EU, will not be free, even though there is zero benefit to Canada. Most likely costs to Canadians:

- $100 billion per year to be paid to the EU, with $200 billion due immediately.

- Canada adapts all net-zero policies and immediately ceases any further energy development to align with the EU policy that leaves them reliant on Russia and Vladimir Putin for their energy needs.

- Canada to send 1 million soldiers to die in Ukraine

- Canada to accept 10 million migrants out of the 50 million that the EU brought in and can no longer control.

The following are the benefits to Canada of this “alignment”:

- Net Zero

- PM Carney and the Liberal party can finally claim a “win”

- The “Elbows up” mob are happy for a day.

Unfortunately - Canadians will not have any say on this complete change in governance of Canada.

If Joly was only as competent in handling her portfolio as she is her eyebrows we would not have this problem.

Maybe Canada can take the migrants Poland refuses?

Effie Trinket should be her nickname….

As once you see it. It can't be unseen.

As her appetite for making the “hunger games” successful in each country she controls.

Is she drunk!?
