Even if Carney detailed his conflicts do you really expect him to tell the truth? Truth and Liberals are strangers.

Oh. Excuse me. I forgot. Liberal Kathleen Wynne characterized lies as “ just politics”.

While everyone is busy watching Trump, Carney’s Net-Zero policies (which benefit his own investments) are being pushed through by equally compromised municipal leaders and bureaucrats. Through the FCM Green Fund grants, cities are signing on to capital project deals that they will never be able to pay for. One small town has already declared bankruptcy this week, apparently blaming construction costs. As we all know by now Canada's ‘infrastructure’ spending in through the roof and residents are seeing property tax increases of up to 35% for green projects that most people didn’t ask for and we definitely don’t need. Hopefully we’ll start seeing more reporting on this.

At the end of the day, Canada has two choices. Make a deal with the USA as a sovereign country that is essentially a free trade agreement and one that synchronizes border security military and migration policies. Or merge with the USA and become a trust territory or a full blown set of states - minus Quebec. For America after 249 years of dilly dallying it is really simple. They have the enormous economic pull factor in their corner. For Canada with its socialist tendencies and Quebec political baggage it is more complicated but doable.

You describe Trump as “one of the most successful, if not the most successful, businessman [in] the 20th century.” Didn’t he bankrupt six companies? Didn’t he settle three lawsuits in 2016 related to Trump University for defrauding students? Didn’t Donald Trump's casino business, specifically through Trump Entertainment Resorts, experience multiple bankruptcies? I could go on. By what criteria would anyone with integrity consider Trump a successful business man? He’s a successful scummy grifter at best.
