I didnt expect any improvement so I am not surprised. Just because he went to school does not automatically make him a good leader...and he isnt. His motives are suspect and the results are simply missing.

It is often a contrarian indicator. Some of the smartest people I know barely finished high school. A formal education(unless you are actually learning a trade) is overrated. I mean does having the ability to quote Havel and Thucydides(like Carney can) have any real world impact? It is pretentious bullshit.

Katrina's avatar

I agree. I know many that did not receive so called higher education (indoctrination today - all encouraging Marxism) and those folks did amazingly well for themselves. They were creative, gutsy, and not afraid of an honest days' work. Today's 'highly educated' are led to believe they are better than others and most are entitled egomaniacs. I taught for a short time in University and had to leave because it sickened me. There is no education being given today. I had a couple of students that plagiarized their work (by the way, Carney did too) and were extremely poor, disinterested students and when I brought this to the attention of the dean, I was told...they paid their money...you will pass them! I left...

Not a stand alone statement. 👍

Christine Barnett's avatar

And do they actually contribute to the economy, or add to the debt.

Katrina's avatar

Highly suspect. In fact, the second I heard Carney's name, I told my husband he will be implanted here (this was before Trudeau even left) and he will bankrupt Canada just like he did the UK. He is here only to benefit himself and his globalist buddies...DEFINITELY NOT FOR CANADA

TruePatriot's avatar

He also has an obligation to protect the imperialists in Great Britain. That is his main purpose.

kathy hamblin's avatar

Carnage is all about his personal legacy. He’s got nothing for the unwashed masses, lol. I actually heard Tom Mulcair spewing the same thing this morning on CTV about us being more European. New catch phrase I guess. In western Canada we are definitely still Canadian.

susan gerbes's avatar

and isn't that a conundrum, that Carnage's legacy will be to bankrupt another country, and totally demoralize us? obviously education doesn't matter.......

Christine Barnett's avatar

Merla, simply stated and accurate. As I’ve often stated, education does not necessarily equate to intelligence.

The Liberals were not elected to reverse economic decline. They were elected to make their voters, most of whom are insulated against the decline, feel good. Nothing can change until those people start to feel the pain.

Karen Benz's avatar

That pain can't come soon enough. I will have not one ounce of sympathy for those fools.

Martin Dixon's avatar

The problem is a lot of the baby boomers won’t feel it. The fact that Carney won’t reform OAS or even mention it is the proof in the pudding.

Karen Benz's avatar

You're right. Sad but true. I don't wish people harm, but in this case I'd like to put a curse on everyone who voted for that tool.

Christine Barnett's avatar

Many want to target “boomers”. If they specify elite or academic boomers, I would be inclined to agree. But many rural, small town communities and northern and far sought western regions voted “red” in most past elections.

Blame it on the GTHA and Ottawa region’s boomers Government employees ( of which there are many in a densely populated region). And the mass influx of gullible immigrants, etc. And, of course foreign interference.

The hard working average “Joe boomer” is…and will…continue to feel it.

I genuinely feel sorry for the 28-35 year olds. Especially the young male group. Our country has failed them across the board. In favour of DEI mandates and New World Order “non economic strategies”.

Canada has become a weak society and definitely duped.

Christine Barnett's avatar

Unfortunately those that stand by Carney will not be affected. He’s already placing his entourage in strategic positions.

Karen Benz's avatar

I'm afraid you are probably right Christine and they don't give a shit about the rest of us or this country.

Christine Barnett's avatar

Sorry…very obvious, that this governing body is nothing but self serving elites. Canadians don’t factor into their grand global ambitions.

Martin Dixon's avatar

Or shuffle off this mortal coil.

Angela's avatar

I was warning about him BEFORE the election that he's going to be dangerous for Canada & it's now coming to fruition. I was devastated when he was elected & now I just plain angry. How stupid are we?

Katrina's avatar

He wasn't elected Angela...he was selected. It was obvious to me and you were right to warn about him early on. The only error people make is believing elections matter. The WEF handles all of that.

Martin Dixon's avatar

We have GS homies running the country. How could anyone think that was actually a good idea after the 89/09 crash. Hogdson, Guzman and Carney all cut their teeth there.

Christine Barnett's avatar

I also said the same warnings. If the Democrats had been ejected we would have been “one sorry excuse” for democracy. Not that I support Trump ( his image and presentation) but he does have valid points.

The Democrats were on the exact same trajectory as Carney and associates.

Richard Sculthorpe's avatar

I’m really not sure why anyone who follows the Canadian Political Scene is surprised things remain virtually the same…Carney was a Trudeau/ Freeland advisor for many years before he got elected.

Don's avatar

🎯...YUP...it's more like Trudeau sounding like his mentor..uncle Mark..( one of THOSE uncles!! ) 😱

Mark J. Carney stopped being an economist decades ago.

Mr. Carney is a banker.

He is ruthless in the pursuit of influence, power, and wealth.

Canada is just where he parks his car, for now.

Canadians fell for it five times in a row.

Ken Schultz's avatar

Correction, Donald:

Canada is where Carney's publicly supplied limo is parked.

Christine Barnett's avatar

His financial status speaks for itself.

Martin Dixon's avatar

Trudeau with meaningless letters behind his name. I PVR the CBC news for a half an hour at 6am every day and he was blathering on live about something over there. Had to shut it off.

Michael Law Cobb's avatar

Carnage wrote Trudumb’s playbook. The agenda’d destruction of Canada for their personal gain.

Sandra D Barber's avatar

Fact: Mark Carney has been Prime Minister for one year and in that time has accomplished NOTHING. MOU's are empty promises. It appears that the priorities set by the Liberal Government are bent on destroying all relationships with USA, our closest neighbor, friend, ally, and trading partner for years and increasing all of the Climate change initiatives set by the IPCC. To heck with USA, let's trust China instead??? We Canadians are doomed, have no chance at any change until 2029. What could go wrong??????????? Bets on a complete financial collapse first, GLOBALLY, since there are so few countries without debt. What say you???

Katrina's avatar

Remember, Carney identifies as European, his family live in the U.S., his business dealings are in the US - he has less than zero loyalty to Canada. He is here to fulfill the WEF agenda. The UN/WHO/WEF/IMF are all controlled by the same Luciferians that call themselves elite. I will never say that word if referring to these creeps. Nor will I call him "my" PM. He is nothing to me, nor is king Charlie a king to me. They can take all their titles and shove them where the sun doesn't shine. Why folks put any other human on a pedestal is something I cannot grasp.

Non confidence vote? carny is likely to be down 2 MPs soon

LC's avatar

The one riding is in BC which was a Conservative riding many time and can be again. The other is in Quebec and could possibly go Conservative or Bloc Quebecois...so now we pray. I heard through the grape vine that these two ridings will not go to the Liberals. So Pray!!

Craig Smith's avatar

Maybe, the question is will Scheer will hide behind the curtains again before deciding if he can vote?

Christine Barnett's avatar

Sandra…I’m positive that IS the plan. The reveal the true ONE World ORDER PLAN…preparation underway as we speak.

Terry McDonald's avatar

I am curious Brian. What do you think Carney is really up to? (His long term plans - who is he beholden to [Central Banking/BIS - maybe City of London -and his Brookfield buddies]?). Because he sure comes of as not really giving a shit about Canada as a whole and especially the down to earth, everyday Canadian who makes up the nation (I am using the term nation as in nashun, meaning the people across the land in aggregate).

LC's avatar

All about the money...China is involved with Carney up to their eye balls...money...money...money! There's a song in that!!

sandi ross's avatar

Carney's only plan is to borrow, put Cda into insurmountable debt & when he's made money for himself & Brookfield, & further ensconced us with Communist China he'll skip back to his home country of Europe plus part time in the USA. He is on a one way ego trip! I cannot believe so many people have been brain washed into thinking this traitor is good for our country!

Sick of all these negative comments about Poilievre & Conservatives. We are not the ones that put Cda in this critical situation.

Wake up Canadians. YOU & I are paying for all this debt and these so called freebie programs & handouts even tho millions of Cdns don't use them. Carney will be on his way to becoming a billionaire courtesy of Liberal voters.

Kevin O'Mahony's avatar

Trudeau's economic advisor is now giving the same economic advice to himself.

Liberals being Liberals - gaslighting everybody about real change and then doing the same stuff over and over.

Jon M's avatar

To believe that the guy who was essentially Trudeau's economic advisor for the better part of 5yrs was going to change anything. All he is doing, different from Trudeau, is corporatizing the government, by taking decision making away from elected officials that have to eventually answer for bad decisions, to elite expert led pseudo public institutions, that have little oversight, because that's what he believes in. He doesn't believe that the plebs need to be consulted on how they are governed.

That's why he has not done the logical but messy thing of trying to reduce red tape and regulations to make Canada a more attractive place for anyone to invest. He would much rather just create all these no oversight elite led pseudo government institutions that are allowed to circumvent the regulatory process for chosen projects. 8 massive pensions funds, where if you would ask any of their heads where they would invest their next marginal dollar. The answer would be easy. The US.

Actually worse !!!

Which is unbelievable considering Carnshit is Educated!!!

LC's avatar

Carney fav word Catalyzed he thinks it makes him look & sound so important! He is full of SH*T plus not an Honest person!!

Why this would come as a surprise to anyone is one of the great mysteries of the universe.
