I was hunting around for stats Canada information. Apparently our government feels there is anywhere between 20 to 500 thousand migrants/refugees are in the wind. I was trying to find out how many migrants/refugees spoke passable English or French prior to coming to Canada. Stats Canada seems to think it is 93%.
Alberta thinks that a quarter of the students in its school system do not speak passable English.

Bringing in immigrants to Canada faster than the country could absorb has done way more than affect the housing market. Look at infrastructure in large cities. Look at the utterly broken healthcare system, now functioning at third-world levels. Look at crime stats. And the worst part is that Canadians have been convinced that "diversity" versus integration was going to make their country stronger and better. Shared values, shared patriotism, and love of Canada, gratitude for being in Canada, and the desire to make the country wonderful will make the country strong....not division.

Reliable data from Statistics Canada is an oxymoron. They have become purveyors of misinformation, much like the judiciary, police, Elections Canada, and the CBC.
When they say Canadians tourism to the USA is down ,it’s not because of boycotting so much as it is travel insurance & the dollar .Many Canadians are still travelling to warmer climes in spite of what the Carney and his cohorts spew from their mouths. I know some elbows up who still own property in the 🇺🇸 and are not about to give it up for any boycott

What canadians should be concerned about is how many fewer americans want to come to canada....we spend 5 months in a high american-tourism area of ontario every year. We've watched the numbers dwindle by 70% since trudeau closed the border to americans for 2 years...now THAT is harming canadian business....you can preen all you like about not going to usa...but are you supporting your canadian small businesses? We sure don't see that where we go.

Most people I know don’t want anything to do with going to the US unless absolutely necessary.
