Trusting Carney on aNyThInG?! I know I am not alone when I say this, not alone by far, but I just can't. "Trust" and "Carney" do not belong in the same sentence. It's about what one calls cognitive dissonance that is veering into the certifiable. Untrustworthy, is what he is. (That's the opposite of trustworthy, for those in the back of the room. Geez.)

NEW: Canadian consumer insolvencies in Q2 2026 reach highest level ever recorded for Q2, at 37,523.

Higher than Q2 2009, Global Financial Crisis. (33,200)

On track to smash the annual record as well.

Sure signs of a healthy economy!! Canada is in trouble but don't tell the elbows up brigade, they're too busy knocking on doors in support of more liberal ineptitude, gaslighting and obfuscation.

If I were a young graduate, I'd be out of here faster than you can say "Liberal futility".

That's inconvenient.

That poll just goes to show how powerful our baised media and how gullible my fellow Canadians are; the saying used to be "never trust a banker". However, because of mass brainwashing, it is now "trust him, he's a banker"......

We don't want another Mulroney or Eastern Canadian running the show.

We're happy with Pierre.

There's no election in site, so stop playing into the hands of the Liberal and their paid pollsters.

I did hear Ben Mulrokbey say he was Not interested in running. So that poll died befor it got started.

Polls are great. They used a sampling , it just gives us a snapshot of where we stand...so now we know. Its could ir could not mean trouble for Pierre..

Its like a hockey game for me, just because your losing in the first period doesnt mean thats how the game will end. The next federal election is Oct 15.2029..oh my..

Calling it eary because if, Instability, lose confidence, new mandate, unstable govt. Thats how Carney hit his job. So theres hope..

Go leafs! Lol ya sure 🤣

Listening to Mulroney on AM radio is painful.

Enough.

I did listen to Ben Mulroney state clearly that he was not whatsoever interested in running for office, being party leader, being PM, etc., etc.; he basically (to my ears) made very clear that he wanted nothing to do with the process or the offices.

In fact, his statements were reminiscent of the assertions by William Tecumseh Sherman who said, "If nominated, I will not run; if elected, I will not serve."

On the other hand, he does present well and - at least on the surface - he seems knowledgeable about many issues. On the other, other hand, he asserts that it is only on the surface.

Too bad as so many of our politicians cannot even present well.
