Yes, I agree. The human side. It made my wife and me very angry to hear fellow boomers describe him as a cold, nasty Trump knock-off. PP really, truly cares for the ordinary, everyday, average Canadian. The Jordan Peterson interview definitely showed that.

Re OAS: I would support both raising the age (to at least 70) AND restructuring eligibility based on income. When OAS was first brought in and the age set at 65, avg life expectancy was 72, so it was expected to pay out for an avg of 7 years. Today, avg life expectancy is around 82, so now it's expected to pay out an average of 17 yrs. I was honestly really disgusted by the pearl-clutching response to raising the age of eligibility a measly two years. My disappointment in the Canadian populace writ large has only increased since then.

The problem is mainstream media broadcast these pro liberal, extreme left views during and before elections berating anyone who disagrees with the liberals with massive repetition, overwhelming any honest discussion. How do you beat the government who controls media & communications. Newest Liberal policies also seem to be designed to shut down Independent Internet discussion. MSM is not news it is only broadcasting ideally with bending the facts when it suits them all to get $ from the Liberal gov feed trough!

Is it possible to have a “traditional” election in the near or even distant future. It seems that foreign interference elements, strategic agreements and coercion have more relevance in our democratic elections than actual votes.
Added to that is the “realignment” of voting districts. How are all these factors not addressed by CSIS and the RCMP.
I realize that many in the general public are politically and economically illiterate (no offence intended), but is it not obvious that Canada has been “directed” to move towards a detrimental future.
Most democratic nations have also been similarly targeted.
